Agata Strausa Caps Off Gator XC Career With All-America Honors; Men 29th at NCAA Championships

Terre Haute, Ind. -- The second time was a charm for Gator senior Agata Strausa, who became UF’s first cross country All-American since 2009 Saturday in her second-ever NCAA Championship race. Strausa clocked a 33rd-place finish (20:42.1) in the field of 253 athletes to cap off her senior cross country season on a high note. In men’s NCAA Championship team action, the Gators placed 29th in the field of 31 and were paced by senior Mark Parrish’s 49th-place individual finish (30:54.5), just shy of top 40 All-America accolades.
