Wisconsin men third at national meet

TERRE HAUTE, IND. — Sophomores Mohammed Ahmed, Maverick Darling and senior Landon Peacock led the Univeristy of Wisconsin men’s cross country team to a third-place finish at Monday’s NCAA Cross Country Championships.

Oklahoma State repeated as the men’s champion.

The individual men’s title went to Samuel Chelanga, a Kenyan representing Liberty, and Sheila Reid (20:06.9), a Canadian running for Villanova, was the women’s champ.
