Olivia Markezich, a senior at Notre Dame, took third in the women's 6-kilometer race in 19:10.0 at the NCAA Division 1 Cross Country Championships at the Panorama Farms Course in Virginia. Markezich, a five-time Division 1 championship meet qualifier and four-time cross country All-American, helped Notre Dame secure a podium finish for the first time since 2004 with a fourth-place performance at 237 points.
