Wesley Kiptoo of Iowa State placed second in the NCAA Division 1 Cross Country Championships, covering the 10-kilometer layout in 28:38.7 at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Fla. Kiptoo led the Cyclones to a runner-up team finish by a 92-137 margin behind Northern Arizona.
