Doris Lemngole and Hilda Olemomoi 2nd and 4th Place Women's 6K - NCAA D1 Cross Country Championships 2023

Alabama teammates Doris Lemngole, a freshman, and sophomore Hilda Olemomoi, both representing Kenya, finished second and fourth, respectively, in the women's 6-kilometer race at the NCAA Division 1 Cross Country Championships at the Panorama Farms Course in Virginia. Lemngole clocked 19:05.7, which was faster than the previous 6-kilometer course record that was also eclipsed by Florida junior Parker Valby in her victorious 18:55.2 effort, and Olemomoi ran 19:22.1 for the Crimson Tide, which secured seventh place as a team with 314 points.
